The pillow
Visibility project for hosts and staff at Copenhagen Contemporary. Exploring “the nature of things”. In the brutal and massive halls of the old B&W shipyard, now inhabited by Copenhagen Contemporary, I found that the availability, professionalism, service and kindness of the staff is a soft contrast to the physical surroundings. Underlining that understanding I created this pillow idea. Instead of a conventional badge or t-shirt, I wanted the pillow to be something more of an palpable object that could be worn on top of the hosts own clothes/identity with a rustique neckchain. The hosts personal identity and backgrounds within the arts being a valuated source, and this visibility do not cover that up, but instead suggest a softness in midst of the hard industrial halls of Copenhagen Contemporary. Study project at KADK.
