Saltcellar

With a volume defined as the of the simple shape of a half sphere this saltcellar is wider and thicker at the bottom to gain stability in a busy kitchen. The design relies on functionality and minimalism. It’s volume are similar to established designs, not too large, not too small to acomodate all from fine the flaked salt. It is carved in oak that compliments the white circle of the salt when filled, and gathers the salt elegantly when poured. Two prototypes have been given shape by David Svane at Københavns Træskærerværksted. I currently seek production possibilities. Please contact me for inqueries or interest in this matter.
